About this app
Karakeep is an open-source, self-hosted bookmark manager for links, notes, images, PDFs, and highlights, built to keep everything you want to save in one place. It automatically fetches titles, descriptions, and previews, then helps you organize your library with AI tagging, full-text search, lists, and rule-based automation. With browser extensions, mobile apps, RSS ingestion, and page archiving, Karakeep works well as both a read-later tool and a durable personal content archive.

After it starts
Imported from the CasaOS App Store and verified to start on Setup; it has not been reviewed line by line.
- From the source: Set NEXTAUTH URL to the address you will use to access Karakeep. Use long random strings for NEXTAUTH SECRET and MEILI MASTER KEY , and keep the MEILI MASTER KEY identical in both karakeep and meilisearch . The first user to sign up on your instance becomes the admin.
- Passwords and keys were generated on first deploy; you can read them in the deployment's inputs.
- Optional: OpenAI for an AI model API. The app starts without them; connect the service or fill in its inputs to use it.
